Weather Video, 23 March

The rainy and cold weather countiued throughout the night, and all day today, until late afternoon when we finally saw the sun again – but still no warmth.
14.4mm of rain today, most during the night and morning. Temp reached 16.7 °C in late afternoon, when the sun came out. Most of the day it stayed between 13 and 14 °C.
It seems we’ll be getting some more sun the upcoming days, but still a lot of rain showers.

Weather Video, 22 March

This morning we saw a glimpse of the sun, but the rest of the day was cold and rainy. It actually looks better on the video than it was for real.
We had a couple of torrential showers, very short, but most of the day we had a more or less stady drizzle/rain. But still not that much, only 8.4 mm so far.
We reached 16.2 °C late in the afternoon, but most of the day we had about 14 °C, with down to 12 °C in the cold showers.

No sunset video today; The sun was nowhere to be seen at sunset time…

Weather Video, 21 March

This morning was still rainly, with a total rainfall of 7.4 mm, but today, finally, a bit of sun for a while in the afternoon. Still no real warmth, though, maximum today was 18.6 °C, at 3pm.
We were able to catch a – very short – glimpse of Teide, for the first time in days, and he seems to have gained some more snow since we saw him last. Not surprising.
But this seems to have been just a single day – tomorrow the prognosis is for rain all day, and that seems to be the norm for the coming week…

Weather Video, 20 March

The chilly weather continued today… It feels like it will never end, although the sun came out for a short while in the late afternoon, and the sunset was nice.
We didn’t see anything of the exlipse this morning, due to the clouds. (And even without clouds, the sun is still behind the mountains at the time the eclipse started – but we could have seen the second half of it… not that it was that much, here in the Canarias. Not like in northern Europe.)
The prognisis says it’ll be sunny tomorrow, but I’ll beleive that when I see it. (But even the prognisis is just for one day with sun – and still chilly – before the rain showrs comes back.
Not much rain today, though. Just 1.6 mm.
Temp never reached more than 16.7 %deg;C today (1.2 %deg;C less than yesterday), and that was just when the sun came out in late afternoon.

Weather Video, 19 March

The chilly weather continued today; Mostly cloudy, and rain showers. Not much rain, no heavy showers, so it’s been just 4.8 mm, total. (Yet, there might be some more tonight.)
Much like yesterday, a depressing day. Temp never reached higher than 17.9 %deg;C today (0.2 %deg;C up from yesterday), and most of the day was below 15 °C.

Weather Video, 18 March

I’m again late posting the weather video for yesterday; I usually do that in the evening, but I had problems with the video processing last night, and had to re-do it this morning.
Yesterday was chilly and rain showers. Not much good to say about it, a depressing day. Temp never reached higher than 17.7 %deg;C, and most of the day was below 15 °C.
Total rainfall wasn’t much, in spite of the persistent showers… only 5.4 mm. (less than 1/4 inch.)

The sunset was nice, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to publish any video of it. I still have problems with the processing of yesterdays’ video data.

Weather Video, 17 March

I’m late posting the weather video for yesterday; I usually do that in the evening, and now it’s almost noon the next day.
Yesterday was chilly, and not much sun – we didn’t reach any higher than 18.2 °C, and with no sun it was rather chilly.
Today is even worse, with only 13 °C -something almost at noon, and rain showers.
But more on that later, when I post the video for today.

But the sunset yesterday, was nice.
